Advanced Mineral Seal-AMS-R™, as an application, is a highly formulated cationic asphalt emulsion, fortified with SBS polymer and co polymer micron latex rubber. The emulsion is uniformly combined with a hard, fine, fractured rock aggregate, with high PSV and MOH values.

The combined product is then applied to the open grade asphalt pavement, with a uniquely engineered “Combo” applicator truck providing a single “one pass” surface seal treatment to the pavement. There is no requirement for rolling or sweeping the pavement, post application, and Return to Traffic occurs within 2-3 hours normally, dependent on climate conditions.

Advanced Mineral Seal-AMS-R, is designed to:

• Seal the pavement from UV and Moisture intrusion.
• Lock in existing oils, aggregate, fill voids.
• Provide a new Black, thin, friction seal, wear course with + skid co-efficient values with a tough Bond and Cohesion strength!
• Extend the life of existing “In Place” pavements, reducing life cycle costs and reduces unacceptable multi layering wear courses, that must ultimately be milled down at great expense.
• Has FAA P 626, specification aviation compatibility.
• Great flexibility in extreme Cold/Heat thermo cycles.

Advanced Mineral Seal-AMS-R, emulsion, has excellent resistance to weathering, UV degradation, and wear. This has
been tested and passed by ASTM D 2939 and subs 14,15, 19, 20, 22 & 25. It has also passed ISSA TB-100 and ASTM G 154
testing methodologies.

The emulsion will:

• Meet Super Pave PG Testing
• Meet specifications for SBS fortified binder below,
• Elastic recovery
• Force ductility
• Cold temperature ductility & Phase angle
