In 2017 Pavement Restoration Inc acquired land at Comfort, Texas with Interstate 10 frontage, and set about to build one of the most up to date, Fully Automated Asphalt / Bitumen Blending and Emulsion Systems in the country.
This Emulsion Plant offers preprogrammed processes that allow our Plant Operations to perfect the exact Operating Procedures required to mix and blend the Proprietary emulsion recipes to produce the exact required Specifications day in and day out. This level of quality provides a consistency of performance in our cationic emulsions to our Customers. The Plant meters and weighs all the oils, surfactants, acids, water, then heats to required temperatures and passes the product through an ultra-high speed colloid mill with a cationic charge. The Plant can produce up to 4 000 gallons per hour and has over 50 000 gallons of Storage capacity .
The Emulsions are manufactured on a JIT methodology that allows for thorough planning of loads and "fresh" emulsion to the job site. The location with Interstate 10 frontage allows for valuable transportation delivery.
The Comfort location is also Fixed Base for our crews serving the Texas and New Mexico markets, and the Depot for our state of the art Application equipment, to address asphalt pavement preservation assets for the Municipal markets. Pavement Restoration additionally, operates a second facility in Phoenix , Arizona with Fixed Base Crews and application equipment serving the Arizona, Colorado and Utah markets.
